Panamerikanska Hälsovårdsorganisationen upprepar sitt stöd till Nicaraguas
regering i arbetet med Covid-19 och bekräftar två registrerade fall av Covid-19

ANLEDNING AV att den systematiska manipulation som
den politiska högeroppositionen bedriver i Nicaragua, som även reflekteras i de
sociala nätverken, kunde dessa cyniska krafter igår inte dölja sin skadeglädje

en dagstidning med färre än 20.000 köpare som i folkmun döpts till ”La PrenCIA”.
Märk väl den anmärkningsvärda rubriceringen av tidningen, som ägs av en av
landets rikaste familjer, Chamorro, fanatisk hatare av FSLN-regeringen. Tidningen
citerades omedelbart av en Chamorros beundrare i Sverige som inte är sen att sen
att späda på skrämselkampanjen: ” Rykten gör
gällande att han (Daniel Ortega, reds anm) är smittad
och åkt till Cuba för behandling”.

Men igår gick igår WHO:s representant i Nicaragua, ANA SOLÍS TREASUTE, ut i en
presskonferens i Managua och dementerade:
– Vi upprepar vårt stöd till Nicaragua och vårt
tekniska samarbete för att fortsätta arbeta, fortsätta att stödja
folkhälsofrågor och fortsätta följa förberedelserna för svaret på denna
internationella akuta hälsovårdsfråga, Covid-19, sa WHO-representanten till
medierna.
HON BAD
ÄVEN OM URSÄKT för att OPS publicerade en felaktig
uppgift om antalet registrerade fall i Nicaragua, ett ”digitalt fel” i OPS´
system, som omedelbart publicerades i massomfattning av den politisk kraft som
april-juli 2018 försökte störta demokratin i Nicaragua:
– Vi ber om ursäkt till befolkningen i Nicaragua och
deras regering för detta fel och den oro det kan ha orsakat, underströk Treasute.

Belize och Nicaragua har de lägsta registrerade fallen
på den amerikanska kontinenten, två vardera. Det betyder inte på något sätt att
situationen och framtiden är säkrad. Tvärtom handlar det om att förstärka
beredskapen men utan skrämselkampanjer som i dess värsta konsekvens kan bli
okontrollerbara.

Health Organization (PAHO) reiterated its support and technical cooperation to
Nicaragua to combat the Covid-19.
"We
reiterate to Nicaragua our support and technical cooperation to continue
working, to continue supporting public health issues and continue to accompany
preparation for the answer to this health emergency of international concern by
covid-19," said Ana Solis Treasute, representing the PAHO / WHO.
During a press
conference Thursday night also reported that there was an inadvertent error in
digitizing one of the instruments used for reporting confirmed cases of

involuntario en la digitalización de uno de los instrumentos que utiliza para
el reporte de los casos confirmados de covid-19 de manera oficial, en este caso
para nuestro país.
"La
Organización Panamericana de la Salud reconoce que hubo un error involuntario
en la digitalización en uno de los instrumentos que utiliza para el reporte de
los casos confirmados de manera oficial, en este caso para el país Nicaragua.
Sin embargo los mapas publicados en nuestro sitio web muestran los casos
confirmados con los datos correctos", dijo la representante de OPS para
Nicaragua.
“Reiteramos que
para Nicaragua hasta el momento solo hay dos casos confirmados, cifras
oficiales que reconoce la Organización Panamericana de la Salud en el marco del
reglamento sanitario internacional, nos disculpamos con el pueblo de Nicaragua
y con su Gobierno por la preocupación que este error pudo haber causado",

Durante la

las disculpas, es un error que no se debe volver a repetir. Debe revisarse a
profundidad ese error involuntario, le pedimos a OPS/OMS sea más cuidadosa en
la seguridad y resguardo de los datos que emite el Gobierno de Reconciliación y
Unidad Nacional de la República de Nicaragua. Las cifras emitidas por el
Gobierno de la República de Nicaragua son las únicas cifras con las que trabaja
el SICA", dijo Sáenz.
